Nock Co. Part 2!!!!!
Nock Co. part 2!!!!!In addition to the A5 DotDash journals and DotDash notecards, Brad graciously sent me a Brasstown and a Lookout pen case for review. Over the past two months, these have been used for my everyday carry pen cases as I traveled to work, out on errands, on road trips, etc.
Lookout, three pen holster:The Lookout is designed to carry your top three pens in a durable and compact pen case and it easily fits in a pocket. Measuring at 3.5" x 6", the cases are fabricated in Georgia and made from 1000D Nylon with DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating on the outside and Nylon Pack Cloth for the interior material. The current lineup includes three different color combinations: Raven black (exterior) with Aqua (interior), Olive (exterior) with Lime (interior), and Mandarin (exterior) with Steel (interior). The case is closed with a top flap that tucks under a loop stitched into the front of the pouch. This is a useful feature that allows you to adjust the top to securely hold longer pens in the case securely as well as shorter pens. The three slots are wide enough to accommodate thicker pens but will still hold thin pens securely in place. The Lookout retails for $25 USD, which I feel is an outstanding price. After two months of use, and just like the Brasstown, it still looks brand new. It goes in my pocket whenever I am leaving the house and has been a great conversation starter. The top flap makes it easy to open and close the case quickly and it stays securely closed even when being jostled around in a pocket.Overall, these cases really punch above their price point. I was initially worried that my pens would slide out of their pockets, bump against the other pens, or get scratched up. But, after two months of heavy use, I have not had a pen slide out of place or get scratched. The material that Nock Co. uses for their cases looks and feels like quality material that will last a long time even with hard daily use. I used to only trust my Pen Guardian pen case to protect my pens, but now I use my Pen Guardian, the Lookout, and the Brasstown as daily pen cases without a second thought to the safety of my pens.
