Pocket Size Review 45: Montblanc Great Characters Andy Warhol, Colorverse Constellation

Wow, what a nice pen. It's smooth and you know I like smooth. Its weighting is odd. Heavy stainless steel cap. Light main body and nib.

I don't post the cap for 2 reasons. (1) it throws the weight to the back of the pen, (2) could scratch up the barrel. It could be an every-day-carry if the weight doesn't bother you.

It's a great pen to look at. I'm not especially an Andy Warhol fan. I've been to his museum in Pittsburgh. But the pen with its red/orange (tomato soup) colors and matte stainless steel are very eye catching and not your typical Montblanc black.

The 14k nib is rhodium plated with a giant $ on it. I think there's some irony there. All in all a very nice pen, while expensive it’s worth being a collection centerpiece.
